We used our faithful horse and our team to plant 3.5 hectares of watermelons. One hectare is about two American football fields, side by side. We plowed up lines 5 feet apart and then planted two seeds by hand each 6.5 feet apart at a depth of about 1 inch. Hard work, but wow, we are going to have a great harvest in 6 weeks!
