Because most of the students were fasting during the sunlight hours, it was difficult to accomplish a lot of work during the hot days, so we used this time to add to the normal
curriculum for each subject, lessons that would connect directly with the student garden. I worked directly with the teachers, and then we gave lessons to the students. Everyone excited to be participating in these activities!
